My name is Sarah Elizabeth Biagiotti; I am a multiracial computer engineering student from Houston, Texas, studying at the University of Houston. I am seeking out all opportunities to grow and succeed as I hope to one day be a leader in the technology field. 

What is your background prior to working for MinTech Agency? 

Prior to working at MinTech Agency, I have worked in child care as a Nanny and babysitter for several years. MinTech has been my first opportunity to work in a tech-related job. 

What are you passionate about outside of working for MinTech Agency?

Some of my passions outside of working for MinTech are music, family, traveling, gaming, basketball, technology.

If you could describe yourself with one word, what would it be and why?

If I could describe myself in one word, it would be dependable. I am ready to take the initiative and complete every task to the best of my ability. 

What does diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) mean to you?

To me, diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, mean that an individual should receive fair treatment despite any differences. This means that everyone, regardless of race, religion, gender, age, social status, or sexual orientation, is given the same opportunities. All individuals should be shown respect and accepted for who they are. 

If you could pause your life for just one moment, what moment would that be and why?

One moment in my life I would like to pause is any time my entire family has been together. It’s so hard to get all my loved ones in the same spot, but it is the most special time when we are all together. 

What is your favorite form of self-care? 

My favorite form of self-care is relaxing with some good music, food, and a face mask! 

Why did you choose to work for MinTech Agency?

I chose to work for MinTech Agency because of our culture. I think it’s incredible to find a company that both accepts and values my diverse background. I am honored to be a part of a team working to abolish the diversity gap in the working industry. 

What’s the one takeaway you want readers to know about you? 

One thing I would like readers to know about me is anything I am given the opportunity to learn to do; I will continue to practice until I become a master in that subject.

I am a fun-sized Latina who loves to sing, dance, and play with my cat but am always ready to have a deep conversation. I am always looking for an opportunity to make someone laugh and brighten their day.

What is your background prior to working for MinTech Agency? 

I am currently studying Human Resource Management and Management at Baylor University, and I will graduate in May of 2022. 

What are you passionate about outside of working for MinTech Agency?

Outside of working for MinTech Agency, I am passionate about learning about different personality types, enneagrams, and temperaments. I love diving deeper into who we are as people; understanding these things can help people better communicate with each other.

If you could describe yourself with one word, what would it be and why?

If I could describe myself with one word, it would be caring. I care a lot. I have always been considered the mom in my group of friends. I care about other people, their struggles, and the decisions they make. I also place great emphasis on my success and the success of others. It is so important to me that I reach my high standards and that those around me are reaching their own.

What does diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) mean to you?

To me, diversity, equity, and inclusion mean equal opportunities for all people, a difference of thought, and a more well-rounded community.

If you could pause your life for just one moment, what moment would that be and why?

If I could pause my life for just one moment, it would be at my wedding. I am not married yet, but I would love to pause at that moment and really take it in and appreciate it. 

What is your favorite form of self-care? 

My favorite form of self-care is spending quality time with my closest friends. 

Why did you choose to work for MinTech Agency?

I decided to work for MinTech Agency because I was looking for a role in which I would gain valuable experience related to human resources.

I am a determined, hard-working young woman who lets God guide her in the right direction.
